Two drafts exist side by side: agent-root-v2 (the recording's 3-call redesign, 10 skills, mentor use woven inline) and agent-root-v2-port (conservative additive superset, 25 skills, preserves every production skill, adds MENTORS.md plus 4 standalone mentor skills).
Neither tree is deployed.
Both are drafts written to be hand-edited before promotion.
B1 blocker (port tree only): the 4 standalone mentor skills (mentor-consult / offer-clinic / flow-protocol / pipeline-review) load but are never selected — there is no on-demand skill-load path for them and they are not listed in PHASE_SKILL.
Mentor behaviour there survives only through the inline quote_mentor lines woven into the phase skills.
WIRING-PLAN.md offers fix options A/B (recommend B).
The v2 redesign tree does not have this problem — its mentor use is inline by construction.
